The United Way of SE Louisiana wants to remind everyone that GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people in our community to rally around the causes they believe in and build stronger neighborhoods, cities and regions.
On this day, every single act of volunteerism or donation is amplified by the sheer number of people from Southeast Louisiana joining in. People demonstrate generosity in many ways on GivingTuesday. Whether it’s helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving to causes we care about, every act of generosity counts.
Volunteerism on GivingTuesday is a small snapshot of what United Way does all year long – galvanizing people around solutions to build stronger communities. In Southeast Louisiana, UWSELA and its partners are committed to fostering a culture of volunteerism by mobilizing residents to take action on the causes they care about to generate meaningful, lasting change in our community.
