Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports that seven people were arrested last week after a search warrant was conducted at a house that became the target of an undercover investigation after repeated complaints of alleged drug activity on Rosaryville Rd. in Ponchatoula. As a result of the initial investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed for the arrest of three wanted subjects who were known to live at the residence. 62 YO Curtis Bardwell, 71 YO Evelyn Bardwell and their son, 25 YO Curtis Ray Bardwell, all having outstanding warrants through the 21st JDC. They were present at the time of the search and arrested without incident. Four other subjects were located inside of the residence at the time. 25 YO Krista Brooks, 28 YO Adam Arroyo, 29 YO Bryan Wagner, and 41 YO Steven Holland, who was found hiding in a closet in the master bedroom, were detained and removed from the residence pending investigation. While agents were inside of the house, they observed in plain view numerous forms of drug paraphernalia. A second warrant for the entire property was subsequently obtained and executed. The secondary search produced seizures of drug paraphernalia and a quantity of Meth. All of the suspects now face numerous drug charges.
