Non-Emergency offices of St. Tammany Parish Government will close Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. The Department of Animal Services will close Saturday, November 30, as well. The St. Tammany Fishing Pier, located at 54001 E. Howze Beach Road, will close on Thanksgiving Day— Thursday, November 28. The Pier will close Sunday, December 1, at 6p.m. for the winter months, and is expected to reopen in the spring, on or around March 1, 2020. In November, the Tammany Trace and the Kids Konnection are closed Thanksgiving Day. These facilities re-open Friday, November 29th. Camp Salmen Nature Park will close Thursday, November 28, and will reopen Friday, November 29, at 9 a.m. And the parish’s 20th Annual Holiday of Lights will take place over two December weekends: December 6, 7 and 13, 14, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Koop Drive in Mandeville.
