On Tuesday night, the Tangipahoa Parish School Board voted unanimously to name Tom Tolar as their 2020 President and Robin Abrams as their incoming Vice-President. The new leaders will take their posts in January. Tolar said the board voted on the new officers a few weeks early so they could hit the ground running and get committee assignments in place before the start of the new year.
