TPCVB Executive Director Carla Tate says there are numerous events planned for this weekend in Tangipahoa Parish, and visitors’ safety and well-being are very important. They are working closely with parish and state officials to monitor the Coronavirus. As of now, all events will still take place as scheduled for this weekend. Their staff is in constant contact with the event organizers and each event has enhanced their cleaning plans and increased the quantity of sanitizers and disinfectant wipes available for visitors and staff. Additionally, they are in contact with Louisiana Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser as to the status of other events around the state. Tate said please be assured they are taking the Coronavirus very seriously and if there are any schedule or event changes, they will provide that information.
