The St Tammany Sheriff’s Office took to social media last night to address have received numerous inquiries about a large deputy presence in the 100 block of Eden Isle subdivision. Deputies and detectives were on scene investigating what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound that has resulted in a death. Authorities said there was no immediate danger to surrounding residences, neighbors or the general public. As the scene was being actively processed last night residents were asked to avoid the area of Eden Isles Boulevard near Highway 11.
