St. Tammany Parish Library will host a free book Bazaar for children and teens. At the event, children and teens may choose from an assortment of new paperback books to give away as gifts to friends and family this holiday season—free of charge. Library patrons will have two opportunities to attend this event: from 5:00-7:30pm on Thursday, December 5th at the Slidell Branch Library, 555 Robert Blvd. Slidell, LA 70458; and also from 2:00-4:30pm on Saturday, December 7th at the Madisonville Branch Library, 1123 Main St. Madisonville, LA 70447.
The East and West Teen Volunteer Councils will be on-hand to provide free gift wrapping. In keeping with the holiday spirit, cookies and hot cocoa will be served. Please inform the library of any food allergies at least one week prior to the event. We are happy to make accommodations for you.
