Extra police officers will be on hand at Hammond High Magnet School tomorrow due to some social media posts about a school shooting. On Thursday afternoon Principal Shelly Gaydos sent out an automated call to parents to address the rumors. She said the posts have been thoroughly investigated and found to be not credible. But she also said extra security personnel would be on hand at the school through the day on Friday.
