Last night shortly after 6:40 p.m., Slidell Police were called to a report of multiple gun shots at the McDonald’s on Pontchartrain Drive. As of last night police were aware of one person who was struck by a bullet. The person’s injuries were described as not life threatening. Slidell Police investigators were processing the crime scene and interviewing multiple people., however, they did not believe there to be a public safety threat beyond the original incident.
