The City of Slidell will host a public meeting to provide information on the City’s Flood Mitigation Assistance Program on Thursday, November 14th, at 6 p.m. in the Slidell Municipal Auditorium.
The FMA grant program, funded by FEMA and managed by the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, is focused on mitigating repetitive and severe repetitive loss properties. This meeting will provide homeowners with information regarding the process and eligibility criteria to participate in the City’s upcoming 2019 FMA grant application for elevation assistance. Representatives will be available to assist homeowners with questions or concerns at the conclusion of the meeting.
