The City of Slidell and Pontchartrain Film Festival will present a film screening and closing event for the exhibit Backdrop Louisiana: St. Tammany and New Orleans. “Voices of Olde Towne” will be screened at 5:30 p.m. and “Waterways to Railways,” will be screened at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 at the Slidell Cultural Center on Second St. The exhibit can be viewed from noon to 4 p.m. that day. Both films are oral histories created through Media Arts classes of the Olde Towne Arts Commission.
