An EF-1 tornado has been confirmed in Tangipahoa Parish from the storms earlier this week according to the National Weather Service. The tornado touched down along Highway 440 on the northeast end of Tangipahoa Parish, near the border with Washington Parish. Officials with the Tangipahoa Emergency Operations Center say there was no structural damage and no one was injured, but plenty of trees were brought down. NWS says they will release info like max winds, and a path length and width in a later update.
