Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of 41-year-old Terrence Darnell Miller of Natalbany, on multiple drug charges. Last week, TPSO Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a black older model Chevy Tahoe on LA 1064 near Hoppin Harley’s. As deputies approached they observed the driver, an unknown black male, reaching down between the seat and center console to grab what appeared to be a handgun. Deputies gave loud verbal commands for the male to drop the weapon, to which he immediately complied. The male, later identified as Terrence Darnell Miller, was then removed from the vehicle and taken into custody. The handgun, a Glock 17, was recently reported stolen from a residential burglary in the Hammond area. Deputies also recovered seventy-four pills of suspected hydrocodone and Xanax, approximately 26 grams of suspected heroin, and more. Miller faces numerous charges.
