Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller has been elected to serve on the Police Jury Association of Louisiana’s Executive Board for Region 6. Region 6 delegate represents nine parishes, including Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington, and West Feliciana. Established in 1924, the Police Jury Association of Louisiana was created to improve parish government in the State of Louisiana. Membership is open to each of the state’s 64 parishes regardless of their preferred form of government. Miller was sworn in to his new post on Feb. 14 during the state Police Jury Convention which was held in Shreveport.
