Mandeville Police say that on January 15th officers responded to what was reported as an accidental shooting. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment but is expected to fully recover. 30 YO Mahmoud Sirbil was arrested and booked into St. Tammany Parish Jail for possession of schedule I narcotics, illegal use of a weapon and illegal discharge of a weapon. The investigation is still ongoing at this time and additional charges are pending.
