Mandeville Police Detectives are on the tail of an individual who is suspected of cashing checks at a Hancock/Whitney in Harahan after investigating a rash of early morning vehicle burglaries outside two local gyms in the 3500 Block of U.S. Hwy 190. Seven vehicles had their windows smashed and thieves made off with purses and other personal effects. The Mandeville Police Department has stepped up its presence in these areas and we ask that public report any suspicious activity immediately via 911. Pictures of the suspect are online.
