Donald Villere and the City of Mandeville announced that they have acquired the historic Harbor Field on behalf of the city. Harbor Field, also known as Moore Field, is a baseball field near the Lakefront, on the corner of Claiborne Street and Jackson Avenue. For over 50 years the privately owned field was graciously donated to ensure youth baseball thrived there. The City intends to rezone the space for recreational use, including for youth baseball.
