Michelle Biggs came in from the St Tammany Chamber of Commerce. She told us about a new National Civics Bee they are promoting. And she talked about Expo, which is next week.
The Hammond Airshow is this weekend. Kevin is the head of their board and he told us what to expect from the show. He also brought along Stacy and Rick, who work with the pyrotechnics company that will simulate bombing runs by the aircraft.
From St Tammany FD1 we had Chief Kaufmann and Asst. Chief Macaluso in to talk about their parcel fee renewal that is on this weekend’s ballot. They explained how it works and how it helps FD1. They also promoted their pink vehicle, which is raising money for breast cancer awareness.
