Senator Patrick McMath came in the studio to provide an update on the latest legislative session. He said that his stated goal during the campaign was to bring money back to the Northshore and he feels like he has done that.
Elise and Renee from the St Tammany Cancer Center to talk about the way they treat cancer patients. Their drug trials allow patients to stay closer to home while getting state of the art care.
Michael from St Tammany Parish Government gave us an update in place of President Cooper, who he said is in Washington seeking funding for additional infrastructure projects. He talked about projects underway, the rezoning on Hwy 1088 and more.
Angels Groove Ranch came by the studio to talk about their mission. Lisa and Janelle use horses for therapy and rescue horses as well. They have a Father’s Day event coming up.
