Yvette was here from the Northshore Food Bank. They are doing a little twist on Mardi Gras and asking locals to throw them something, to help feed people in need.
Parish President Mike Cooper came in for his monthly update. Among other things he spoke about the weather yesterday, the inauguration, and what he expects to happen in the near future.
Mary Slazar and Dean Owen Smith came in from Northshore Technical Community College. They spoke about starting a new year, classes opening, and scholarships.
