The Louisiana Department of Health says as of last night we had 196 cases reported from 531 state tests that do not include commercial testing. 4 people have died from the Coronavirus. Those numbers will be updated again at 9:30 this morning. Orleans Parish has 136 cases reported and all 4 deaths have occurred there. There are 35 cases in Jefferson. 6 cases continue to be reported in St Tammany. In Washington there is one reported case. So far 13 parishes are reporting cases of the coronavirus. Things you can do to help reduce the spread include getting a flu vaccine and taking flu antivirals if prescribed, covering your cough, staying home if you are sick, and washing your hands.
