The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office said the FBI has been brought in to investigate whether any civil rights were violated in the death of 17 YO Jaquarius Taylor. Taylor was found dead in the Varnado area last month. Since then a dive team found a cellphone that likely belonged to Taylor at a fishing area near the scene of the crime. Investigators are still working to retrieve the data from the phone. So far no suspects have been named. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office. A $5,000 reward is being offered.
