Yesterday Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said he is ready to keep stay-at-home guidelines in place and schools closed through the end of next month — April 30 — after the White House announced it is recommending people continue social distancing through that same time. The governor said a modification to his own stay-at-home proclamation will be coming before the end of the week. The governor said any revisions to stay at home orders and which businesses are considered essential will come after further discussion with the CDC.
