In Ponchatoula Chief Bry Layrisson reports that at 11:00pm on Monday, Street Crimes Agents initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for improper display of a license plate. The agents approached could smell a strong odor of Marijuana. They detained 3 of the passengers, but the fourth attempted to flee the scene and was quickly caught and detained. A large amount of Marijuana was located during a search of the vehicle as well as a digital scale and a Marijuana-filled cigar. Three handguns were also located inside of the vehicle. Two of these handguns were reported stolen through TPSO. All four occupants face a variety of drug and gun charges. They are 26 YO Juvante Hunter, 19 YO Jocorian Cyprian, 25 YO Travon Hunter, and 18 YO Jaylohn Mitchell.
