The Louisiana Department of Health says as of yesterday we had 5,237 reported cases. That’s up from 4,025 cases reported the day before. 239 people have now died from the Coronavirus, up from 185 just a day before. 1,355 COVID patients are in hospitals, 438 of them require ventilators. Orleans Parish has 1,834 cases reported and 101 deaths have occurred there. There are 1,193 cases in Jefferson and 57 deaths. St Tammany is reporting 220 cases and 4 deaths. Livingston has 23 cases. Tangipahoa is listing 25 cases. In Washington there are 28 reported cases and one death. 60 parishes are reporting cases of the coronavirus. These numbers will be updated again today at noon.
