Last week, the Covington Police Department received a complaint of possible child abuse by a day care worker of the Kiddie Kollege Day Care Center, located at 521 West 28th Avenue. After investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for employee Regena Thompson for Cruelty to juveniles (Felony). On Saturday, February 15, Regena Thompson turned herself into the Covington Police Department, where she was arrested, then transported to the St Tammany Parish Jail pending bond and prosecution.
