Carnival in Covington is looking for sponsors and gift certificates for their costume contest Mardi Grad day, Tuesday, Feb. 25, following the Covington Parade. Contributors of gift certificates will be identified in Carnival in Covington social media posts leading up to the event, then in the sequent posts announcing and describing the contest winners. The Covington parade rolls 10 a.m. Mardi Gras day, Tuesday, February 25. The parade is over by noon, which is when the after-party starts at the Covington Trailhead. The costume contest will be during the Trailhead party, which lasts until 4 pm.
