St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Chairman Tom Meyer, shared a message yesterday, along with members of the Chamber’s Small Business Council. They urged people to follow St. Tammany Eats on Facebook and order from local restaurants. They said consider purchasing gift cards from restaurants, small businesses and service providers. And they said use this time to reach out and check on colleagues, friends and neighbors. A phone call of reassurance can help one another get through days at home while schools and businesses are closed. The Chamber office is closed, and they staff is working remotely.
