The Louisiana Department of Health says as of last night we had 392 cases reported from 899 state tests that do not include commercial testing. According to them, 10 people have now died from the Coronavirus. Those numbers will be updated again at 9:30 this morning. Orleans Parish has 249 cases reported and 8 deaths have occurred there. There are 69 cases in Jefferson and 1 death. St Tammany is still listed at 10 cases. In Washington there are 2 reported cases. 26 parishes are reporting cases of the coronavirus. 53% of the cases reported so far in the state are female, 47% male. Things you can do to help reduce the spread include getting a flu vaccine and taking flu antivirals if prescribed, covering your cough, staying home if you are sick, and washing your hands.
