Yesterday the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested 20 YO Joandre Dawson, a resident of 32509 Highway 21, in Angie, and charged him with the January 12 murder of Ja’Quarrius Taylor. The arrest was the result of several weeks of intensive investigation by the detective division of the Sheriff’s Office. Joandre Dawson is a cousin of Ja’Quarrius Taylor. Dawson will be transferred to the Washington Parish Jail later today and booked on a charge of 2nd Degree Murder. Sheriff Randy Seal said the arrest was the result of a non-stop investigation by his detective division.
