The Hammond Police Department is investigating two cases of cell phone theft from the AT&T stores located on Southwest Railroad Avenue and West Thomas Street. In both cases, an unknown white male walked into each store and used wire cutters to remove the wires from demonstration phones. The suspect took two iPhone 11 Pro Max phones and an iPhone 11 Pro phone. The suspect then fled the stores on foot before employees could call for police.
