The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum is hosting its inaugural “Bridal Expo at the Maritime”, happening from 1p.m. to 5p.m., Sunday, March 1. The show features more than 50 vendors. Vendors include bridal gown and bridesmaid’s attire, tuxedos, music and entertainment, caterers, limousines, music booths, photo booths, hair and make up services, jewelry, travel, and more. There will be many exciting things happening at the show! Complimentary mimosas will be served and brides will receive a complimentary mini bottle of champagne to take home. Tickets are free and registration is not necessary to attend, however Brides are encouraged to send their name and number of attendees via private message on the Facebook or Instagram pages @maritimebridalexpo. The LPBMM is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to bring Louisiana’s maritime history to life through unique interpretive programs, exhibits, and publications and also functions as a premier indoor/outdoor event center.
