Beginning Sunday, January 19, through Saturday, February 1, there will be nightly alternating lane closures on I-10, both Eastbound and Westbound between I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange and the I-10 twin spans. These closures will be from the hours of 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. Crews will continue pouring concrete for a new median cable barrier on I-10 in Slidell. Please expect rolling roadblock operations both Eastbound and Westbound on Thursday night, January 23, weather permitting. This is for crews to install electrical conduit on the Oak Harbor Blvd. overpass. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access on I-10. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
