There will probably be plenty of local citizens on hand when the City of Mandeville hosts Louisiana Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser at the Spitzfaden Community Center tonight at 6pm.
The public meeting will be for Lt. Governor Nungesser to discuss the proposed plans for Fontainbleau State Park near Mandeville. Fontainbleau State Park is under the jurisdiction of the State of Louisiana, not the City of Mandeville.
Some local citizens and groups have protested that there has not been enough public discussion about the future plans for the park.
