Last week the Krewe of Selene held their annual coronation ball. The theme of the Coronation Ball was Geaux for the Gold with entertainment provided by B Street Benny. New royalty included Ms. Dayna Burkhardt as Queen, along with Mr. Chad Nichols as King.
The Grand Marshall will be Ms. Sula Kim from WDSU. The Krewe of Selene is excited to parade down the traditional route on February 21st at 6:30. The parade theme is “NOLA Staycation”. The parade will consist of 17 floats with various marching and dance groups. The Community Outreach Float will honor the past Athena Leadership Award Winners. Parade goers can expect to catch various logo items, trinkets and our signature throw decorated purses.
