On Tuesday, November 5, the Covington Police Department responded to the 900 block of North Florida Street, Covington, LA, to investigate a shooting where one man received a critical gunshot wound. The Covington Police Department, with the assistance of the St Tammany Sheriff’s Office, have made three arrests in relation to this shooting. 19 YO Avery Fabre is charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder. 27 YO Markell Powell faces Attempted Second Degree Murder and a host of drug charges. During the arrest of Powell, he was found in possession of heroin and marijuana. And 26 YO Mikhail Washington, who will also be charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder.
