Last night the Slidell Police Department’s “Toys from Cops” program officially kicked off! Slidell PD, the Slidell Police Association, and the Slidell Memorial Hospital Cancer Center partnered together and had Christmas a little early for some kids. Hundreds of gifts were given out to children whose lives, in some way, have been directly affected by cancer. This is only one of many more exciting “Toys from Cops” events planned this year. Slidell police said they could not have done this without their generous sponsors and the volunteers from the Slidell Police Department. Thank you all so much for your generosity and commitment to our community.
