The National Weather Service says Flood Warnings have been extended for the Tangipahoa River Near Robert until further notice. Yesterday the river was at 18.1 feet. Moderate flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Officials predict the river will continue rising to near 18.5 feet by today then begin falling. They have also extended the Flood Warning for the Pearl River near Pearl River. That river is expected to rise above flood stage by Tuesday and continue to rise to near 15.0 feet by Friday November 1st. The Flood Warning continues for the Bogue Chitto River near Bush until Wednesday October 30. It is expected to rise above flood stage to near 12.0 feet by Monday October 28th then fall below flood stage by Wednesday October 30th. And the Flood Warning continues for the Tchefuncte River Above U.S. Highway 190 Near Covington until Tuesday October 29. The river was expected to crest near 22.0 feet yesterday before falling below flood stage today.
