DA Warren Montgomery reports that 35 YO Jordan Hollenbeck, a former narcotics officer for the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office, was sentenced Wednesday to two years in prison, followed by two years of suspended prison time and probation on the three counts of malfeasance to which Hollenbeck had pleaded guilty to on Oct. 1st. Hollenbeck admitted to using his position as a narcotics officer to alert two drug dealers, including one who was supplying him with Oxy, that they were the subjects of an undercover operation by the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office. At the hearing, a local pain management physician testified that Hollenbeck alerted him in 2017 that he was the subject of a DEA investigation. A DEA Special Agent testified Hollenbeck’s actions put the lives of fellow law enforcement officers in extreme danger.

Hollenbeck gave a statement admitting that his addiction had cost him his home and family. Hollenbeck had no prior criminal history, and he was a combat veteran who had been honorably discharged.
