Earlier this week detectives with the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office drug task force arrested a Bogalusa drug dealer who was in possession of a stolen firearm. With a search warrant for his residence on Amy Street, detectives took 25 YO Darius J. Dobson into custody. A search of the residence revealed drugs, a stolen pistol, another pistol, ammunition, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and cash which appeared to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs. Dobson was transported to the Washington Parish Jail where he was booked on drug and firearm charges. Sheriff Randy Seal said drugs are destroying the very fabric of our society and that he will be relentless in directing officers to continue to apply pressure to drug dealers throughout Washington Parish.
