Sheriff Randy Smith came by after visiting his wounded deputy at the hospital. He gave us an update on the shooting and on Deputy Doby’s condition. He also spoke about the incidents in Alton and Coquille.
David Horchar from Family Promise came in to talk about the new facility they are opening tomorrow. The Willie Paretti Day Center will be on the Safe Haven Campus.
Nick Richard from NAMI spoke about the recent shootings. He talked about mental health, our kids, and some of the resources NAMI has for people in need.
Dennis and Scott came in from the American Legion. They have a lunch this Friday that benefits mental health. They are also doing their Memorial Day ceremony on Monday.
