Last week, the hashtag #YouAreOfficiallyOldIf was trending. I was reading the things to determine if they applied to me. It was things like: you grew up with VHS tapes, you first got on the internet thanks to a free CD, there were 9 planets in the solar system when you were in school, you had a (crank) handle to operate your car windows, you watched the episode where The Flinstones and The Jetsons meet, you saved files on floppy disks, and Scooby Doo was part of your Saturday morning cartoon rotation. They all applied to me….here’s the deal…I’m 40, according to this, 40 is officially old…but I feel younger, better, and more energetic now than I did when I was 30!? So I ask you, is 40 #OfficiallyOld?
40 is the new 30 – 88%
40 is the new 50 – 12%
